“There’s been a huge movement across this country, where people are encouraging young people to learn instruments. You have new luthiers coming out of this country; and as long as instruments are being made, they’re going to need straps.”

Alan then moved to Toronto, and All Day Breakfast was cooked up when Stefan crashed on his couch during a solo tour; they are a mix of indie folk and garage rock.


“We are all about the live, festival vibes. We go down well there and get to wear crazy shit like tutu’s and cloud outfits. We love festivals too, so it’s win-win,” Simon continues. “We focus on bringing a party live so people want to see us.”

Crystalena has, without a doubt, positive and sunny personality. Despite the cold, windy day in Ottawa, she’s all smiles – walking on air since her first official single, “Found,” was released the day before.
